Hello Hans,
Well done from writing this blog! I have am issue with a existing Flash project that is written in AS1 and 2. I would like to eventually have it all in valid AS3 code and the transfer from 2 to 3 should not be so hard. What I'd like to know is whether I could change all the code that utilizes .prototype to create 'classes' with methods and registers the class as an object (and also sometimes uses 'loose' imperative code with a symbol) to decent OOP-code.
And also, I'd like to get most of the code within symbols out of the .fla files and into seperate .as files, any hints and tips on that?
Regards, Jurgen

Hello,

the links for composition and 04interface.zips seem not to work. This is a great post by the way, haven't managed to find anything of the similar subject as of yet, and I'd greatly appreciate if you'd fix those links to point to the correct location. Thank you, and keep up the good work.
